This book is very well documented. Everything you ever wanted to know about caffeine is contained in this book. The problem is that the authors of the book order with so many facts and quotations from other books / contracts make them unreadable. This is particularly true for the historical part (first part of the book). If you want to know about the history of caffeine, I did not buy this book. The book also has many interesting facts and figures, and only for that reason I will keep it.

We hear much about the bad incentives. Amateur doctors get their information from infomercials or Aunt Clara began to assimilate the drinks / food simulant with tobacco, alcohol and drugs ridiculously misnamed "free time". There is no comparison between a zone-out zombies and Perking a Pepsi or coffee. Those who do not see the need for a reality check. In fact, I drank a Dr. Pepper when I write (and, I might add, without a hint of guilt.) Caffiene is a modern development, particularly in the area of refining and concentration of forces. It emerged from the shadows in the industrial society and is in the conversion of a partnership as an alcoholic stupor, that the world would forever essential. The origins of coffee and tea are very similar – both are known for their healing properties. Both were devoted to intense religious opposition (Muslim and Catholic) and developed rituals and sites, the soaking liquid. Coffee and some other plants naturally contain caffiene. The science section was was about 99% of the more advanced readers, but as a treatise on the chemistry – but the history of this ubiquitous drug was exciting and I learned. The story of the rise of coffee, their political and social meaning and history of the origins of the afternoon "Tea" were both well done / The history of soft drinks was also a revelation. The book contains numerous illustrations and is best with a cup of Costa Rica Arabica Coffee Beaned (not enjoyed) on the ground.

Everyone should questions about the use, cultural associations and perceptions, or trade of substances that contain caffeine in the course of history to look first job. Weinberg and Bealer have scoured an impressive number of texts, to compile this work, and thereby creates a leading readers on this topic. The World of Caffeine is a feat that will be ignored by anyone with an interest in the topic.

Given the amount of caffeine consumed all around the globe, it is surprising how little we know about this drug – and how few popular books are written about him. We all know what we need to know. . . . . par expérience personnelle. Or at least we think! Probably most of us are drug addicts, without admitting it. And imagine the advantage you can restrict all over the world, if your use of this powerful drug. All the cultural environment is interesting. I would be grateful if at least one of the authors have a medical background. But they seem to have done their homework, and I applaud their efforts. Give yourself a hot cup of Java (preferably-CAFF), and drink slowly, while you enjoy this entertaining book. Another good book to go with him: "For God, country and Coca-Cola by Mark Pendergrast – you name it, preferred the sugar water in the world (with caffeine, of course!)
